Interim - Nurse Educator

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Nurse Educator

Shift: Exempt, Days (some flex into evening), 8a–4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, Mon–Fri
No weekends, no on-call

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License
• 2 years of Nurse Educator experience
• Relevant clinical experience in assigned area of nursing practice
• BLS (AHA)
• BSN required; MSN in Nursing/Allied Health with experience in Nursing Education and/or Nursing Leadership preferred
• Professional Board certification in clinical specialty or staff development recommended

Other Details:

• Leads nursing practice using Relationship Centered Care and Modified Primary Nursing care delivery model
• Proficiency in all aspects of Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR); role models expected behaviors and validates staff competency
• Communicates quantitative and qualitative patient experience information to staff and Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team
• Collaborates with Clinical Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager/physician dyad and escalates concerns as appropriate
• Follows up on patient concerns and provides service recovery as needed
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures (venipuncture, urinary catheterization, CPR)
• Located on 2nd floor

The Pay Range for this position is $1,800 - $3,200. Please note that all pay rates are gross weekly pay estimates. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, shift, skill set, location and stipends, etc.
