Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Local RN - Neuro ICU

Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, weekends and holidays as needed
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • KY license
  • 2 years of experience
  • Recent neuro ICU experience, preferably including post-interventional stroke patients (thrombectomy, coiling)
  • General or mixed ICU experience in addition to neuro
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • ADN or ASN
  • EVD/ventriculostomy and lumbar drain experience strongly preferred
  • ICP monitoring, ideally on Integra or Camino, strongly preferred
  • Comfort managing multiple titratable vasoactive drips strongly preferred
  • 1:1 experience with CRRT and/or Arctic Sun/TTM strongly preferred
  • Prior travel success in high-acuity ICUs strongly preferred
  • BSN preferred

Other Details:

  • 19-bed neuro ICU. Serving CVA, neurosurgical, carotid surgery and carotid stent patients. This unit supports our comprehensive stroke program if the patient needs critical care placement. In addition, the unit cares for surgical post-op, cardiac interventions, sepsis, general surgery and complex care ICU patients
