Local RN - PCU Float Pool

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Local RN - PCU Float Pool

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

4 weekend shifts in 6 week schedule
Holiday: 1 major 1 minor

Requirements:

• VA License
• 1-2 years of recent PCU/Progressive Care experience
• Experience with Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin drips
• Must independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Strong neuro assessment and cardiac monitoring skills
• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• EPIC experience
• Must meet required ECG/telemetry competency
• Prior travel experience preferred

Other Details:

• First to float
• Travelers should expect to float across inpatient areas based on staffing needs, including: PCU/Telemetry, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Medical units, Surgical/Orthopedic units and Other areas caring for patients within or below the nurse’s competency and scope
• May be reassigned before or during a shift and may have their primary unit assignment changed during the contract
• Scrubs: Navy
