Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel - Certified Sterile Processing Tech

Shift: Days/Evenings, 6a-2p / 10p-6a, 8x5, 40hrs per week
Off-site on-call required

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a central services technician (preferred)
• Certified Central Services Technician Registration (CRCST) required

Other Details:

• Decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment per department and infection control policies
• Sort, reassemble, wrap, and package instruments per instrument cards and sterilization instructions; maintain accurate sterilization documentation
• Inspect instruments for integrity, functionality, and cleanliness prior to assembly
• Proficiency with all sterile processing equipment and instrumentation; adapts to new technology
• Knowledge of the principles of decontamination/sterilization (preferred)
• Ability to work well with children and adults; interest in working with children and adolescents with disabilities
• Physically able to lift heavy instrument sets
• Customer service focused
