Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active MT Respiratory Therapist License 
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC 
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• BLS 
• ACLS
• PALS
• NALS
• Graduate of an NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution

Other Details:

• Provides advanced-level respiratory care to diagnose, evaluate, treat, manage, and control deficiencies/abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system per physician order; acts as a resource to CRT staff and may handle special clinical projects
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• Skills required: arterial blood gases; diagnostic testing procedures; respiratory protocols; patient assessment; equipment operation and troubleshooting; medication administration; patient/family education and self-care instruction; documentation; quality and patient safety initiatives; critical thinking; following protocols
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
