Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Cardiac/Cardiothoracic ICU 9A
Shift: Days / 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 years recent Critical Care (ICU) experience Experience with cardiac and/or cardiothoracic surgery patients preferred Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience managing critically ill adult patients receiving vasoactive and titratable infusions
- Skills (Hemodynamic monitoring including: Arterial lines Central Venous Pressure (CVP) Pulmonary Artery (Swan-Ganz) Catheters Vasoactive and cardiac drips: Norepinephrine Epinephrine Vasopressin Dobutamine Dopamine Amiodarone Nitroprusside Nitroglycerin Heparin Chest tube management and removal competency Central line and PICC care Temporary pacemakers and transvenous pacing)
- BLS
- ACLS
- IABP Impella ECMO preferred
- CCRN certification preferred
- CTICU, CVICU, CICU, CCU, or Cardiac ICU experience preferred
- Mechanical circulatory support experience preferred
- Experience with code response and rapid response teams preferred
- Management of ventilated patients Management of cardiogenic shock and post-cardiac surgery patients Additional Preferred
- Experience with post-cardiac catheterization and vascular intervention patients Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment preferred
Others:
- Must be willing to float to other ICU units. M/S lists may be required if ICU lists are not available.
