Travel RN - ER

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ER

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: try to rotate every other, but not guaranteed

Requirements:

• WA License
• 2 full years of true ER experience (any trauma level)
• Strong ED experience, strong customer service, ventilator class (BiPAP) will provide during on boarding, knowledge of medication administration (mix own meds), chest tubes, central lines, strong IV skills
• Will be required to do charge (facility will train if needed)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, TNCC

• Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis
• ED Beds: 10
• ED hall spaces: 7-10
• First-time traveler: Yes
• Patient Types: Neonates – Geriatrics, 25% Peds, Walk-in traumas, all types of patients ranging from cardiac, neuro, GI, respiratory, psych, frequent drop off GSWs. Will have to provide care to intubated patients will provide training for ventilator and bipap as there are no RT’s onsite, RN’s manage vent/bipap
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Floating: All other OCEDS; CAP – will only float if resident is not there (i.e. sick, in class)
• Scrub Color: any color
