- Total Bed Count: 12 #Bed Types and How Divided: 6 ICU, 6 SDU
- Staffing Ratios: 1:2 (When in SDU, 1:3)
- Typical patients include respiratory failure, DKA, post cardiac Cath STEMI patients, Sepsis patients, alcohol withdrawal, etc. On the SDU unit, we admit patients on diltiazem and amiodarone drips for Afib RVR, have patients on BIPAP, and a variety of other patient types
- Nurses should be able to manage titratable IV drips, including vasopressors, propofol, fentanyl, etc.
- All nurses float to SDU regularly
- Scrubs: Any Solid Color
- Floating to med surg or ED may be necessary if ICU/SDU census is low
