Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Birth Center
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Rotating Weekends
Length: 13 weeks
No call
Holiday Expectations: One major, one minor
Requirements:
- WA License
- 1 year experience
- Strong L&D experience – need to do cervical exams, antepartum and labor, amnio infusion, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin
- Post-partum experience: mom and baby beyond the transition period next 24 hours. Basic breastfeeding
- Experience receiving and being comfortable with couplet care once mom and baby are stable
- HUGS Security system, Pyxis experience
- BLS
- NRP
- Fetal monitoring (AWHONN or Relia’s module)
Other Details:
- EMR: EPIC Stork, GE Centricity
- First-time traveler accepted
- Will only float to areas where they are competent
- Will not float to START unit
- Traditional travelers will float between L&D and Mother/Baby
- Patient Ratios: To follow AWHONN and NANN guidelines: 1:1 for active labor; 1:2 for non-active laboring
