Travel RN - Labor & Delivery 48's

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery 48's

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: Every other, but can be variable based on need
Holiday Expectations: Yes, fair and equitable; no holidays for ANM, but they may be able to pick up if needed

Requirements:

• WA License
• 2 years experience
• 2 years with previous travel experience
• Skills required: High acuity experience: labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips; second set of hands (receive and recover normal newborn as needed)
• BLS, NRP, Intermediate FHM (AWHONN)
• 5+ years experience preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC required
• Antepartum (within L & D) , postpartum (4th floor) (occasionally), additional assignments within scope and experience
• Patient Types: HIGH acuity: Hypertension, Mg administration, C-sections (33% c section rate), Preterm labor, Insulin drips (rarely- follow protocol), vaginal deliveries, epidurals, inductions, Robust antepartum, PROM, Multiple births, post-partum hemorrhage
• Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines:, 1:1 active labor, 1:2 non-active laboring, 1:2-3 antepartum, dependent on acuity
