Travel RN - MS (Pediatrics) - Level 9

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS (Pediatrics) - Level 9

Shift: Nights, 6:45p–7:15a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week
Every other weekend required; no on-call
Duration: 14 weeks

Requirements:

• Active CO RN license (or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Pulmonary Pediatrics experience
• Must have experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and chest tube management
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
• BLS
• PALS
• BSN preferred

Other Details:

• High-acuity assignment; comfort with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations highly preferred
• Patient ratios 1:3 to 1:4 based on acuity
• May float to units within the cohort per facility policy; may be floated within the Denver Metro area up to 35 miles from the assigned facility
• Self-scheduling not available; shift rotation rarely required
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays
• Requested time off limited to 4 days or less total; no RTO during the first 2 weeks; RTO blackout dates 11/25–11/27, 12/23–12/26, and 12/30–1/2
• Seasonal influenza vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
• Accepting local candidates (local rate within 50 miles)
