Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - NICU - 3H
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
No on call requirements. Every other weekend is required. Holidays required, as needed
Requirements:
- AR or Compact License
- Must have 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NNICU
- Must have Level 4 experience
- Must have at least one prior travel assignment
- Must have recent experience with Trach patients
- EPIC experience
- BLS
- NCC Neonatal ICU RN preferred
Other Details:
- EMR is EPIC
- Med system is Pyxis
- Floating is required within the ICU cluster (NICU, PICU and Burn). Travelers are first to float.
- Level 1 or 2 NICU experience will not be considered
- Must test negative for nicotine
- Ratios: 1:1-3/4 based on acuity
- Patient population: Typical patient population (diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible, transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body cooling
- Equipment: GE, Servo, Kangaroo Care, ECMO, Nitric Oxide, HFOV, Jet Vent (occasional), & IMV Respiratory and Anesthesia available for support
