Travel RN - PACU

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PACU

Shift: Days, 8a–8p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Weekend and on-call required: every 3rd weekend (12 hours each day) plus six weeknight calls 8p–7a within a six-week period

Duration: 9 weeks

Requirements:

• Active KY RN License
• 2 years experience
• BLS
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of start
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred

Other Details:

• PACU is a 16-bed unit adjacent to the OR providing postoperative care to patients of all ages and acuities
• Surgical services supported include general, vascular, orthopedic, urologic, ophthalmologic, oral/maxillofacial, plastic, gynecologic, cardio-thoracic, ENT, neurosurgical, dental, and bariatric, plus pain management and bronchoscopies
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices for all patients
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications, or ability to be trained
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with other care team members
