Travel RN - PCU

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, No Call; Weekend - every 3rd, Holiday Rotation
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• IA/Compact License
• 2 years of Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Neurology/neurosurgery care experience
• Ortho/orthopedic care experience
• Drip Experience: Heparin, PCA, 3% Sodium/Na
• EKG / Strip reading & measuring / telemetry experience 
• BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• EPIC emr/electronic medical experience
• Trauma care experience highly preferred
• Trauma level I experience highly preferred
• Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo highly preferred
• De-escalation certificate preferred - CPI, MOAB, MAB or SAMA accepted

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• Float 
• No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 months
• Bed Size: 25 bed
• Patient Types: heavy neuro trauma, neurosurgery, craniectomy, ortho
• RN Ratios: 1:5 - 6
• Drips:  Heparin, PCA's, 3% Na, no titration
• Scrubs:  Navy Blue
• Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo
