Travel RN - PCU

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU 

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Holiday Expectations: based on scheduled days from facility, No call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• KY License
• 2 years of STAC Stepdown experience required for traditional traveler.
• BLS
• CAP Preceptor: 3 years of Stepdown experience is preferred, as well as at least 6+months Level I or II Trauma experience

Others:

• EMR: Cerner
• Float to mixed acuity only
• Must have Blood Admin, skeletal, bucks traction, drains, JP, Chest Tube management, wound dressings, wound vac management, wound care. Heparin gtt, high flow, stable bipap, Trach care required. There is no drip titration on this unit (if titration is ordered, patient will be transferred to ICU)
• Beds: 15 beds
• Patient Ratio: RN: 1:4-6
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:Trauma post-surgical, MVA, elective surgeries, Whipple’s, chole’s, GSW, blunt/penetrating trauma’s, assaults, ATV, amputations
• Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue
