Travel RN - Pediatric Emergency Room

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Pediatric Emergency Room

Shift: Mid, 11a-11p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Sat, Sun + 1 weekday

Length: 13 weeks

No on call. Holidays required as needed.

Requirements:

• AR/compact license
• 2 years of specialty experience
• Plus years' experience required in pediatric setting and large level 1 trauma hospital.
• BLS
• TNCC preferred
• ENPC preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Floating not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must test negative for nicotine
• Facility: 359-bed Level 1 trauma teaching hospital; ED is a 39-bed unit and the only pediatric Level 1 trauma center in the state
• Patient population: birth to under 21 years (occasional adult patients); pediatric minor illness through major trauma
• Nurse/patient ratios: 1:1-3/4; Fast Track 1:5/6
• Travelers do not triage and do not perform SANE cases
• Equipment: Sigma and MedFusion 3500 IV pumps
