Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Pediatric OR
Shift: Days / 6:45a-5:15p, 10x4, 40 hrs/week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation: unlikely, but could be assigned a weekend shift if weekend staff are off
On call? yes, approx. 2 weeknights (1900-0700) and 1 weekend (1900 F – 0700 M) every 6 weeks, 30 min response time (1 RN, 1 Surg Tech on call at a time) Night Shift: not required to take call
Requirements:
- WA/Compact license
- 2 years high level acute OR experience
- Skills required: circulating above case types; highly preferred : IV starts, scrub experience; preferred: robotics, high-level neuro, eyes, dental
- BLS
- PALS
- Will consider candidates with adults + peds experience
- CNOR preferred
Other Details:
- EMR: Epic
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with 5+ years)
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: neonates – 18, including adult sized patients, developmentally delayed and/or congenital anomalies; peds traumas – MVAs, GSWs, shaken baby; neurosurgery – Cranies, EVDs, shunts; spine – scoliosis repairs, spinal injuries; urology – hyper/hypospadias repair, orchiopexy, orchiectomy, inguinal hernias; gyn – ovarian torsion, ovarian cyst, endometriosis lesions, IUD placements; ortho – pinnings, ACL repairs, arthroscopies, hip osteotomies; oncology – general, tumor resections; ENT – T/As, PE tubes, trachs; general – GI related surgeries (lap/open appies, lap/open cholies), other general cases; experience preferred, not required in dental, ophthalmology - strabismus repairs, robotics - DaVinci XI
- Floating: PICU to assist with procedures, NICU at TG (across street connected by walkway), may also assist anesthesia with procedures ie: intubations in MRI or IR
