Travel RN - PICU

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PICU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: Every other (unless otherwise requested or stated)
On call? no, only low census/standby to be called in for a later portion of shift

Requirements:

• WA License
• 2 years PICU experience, at least 1 year needs to be PCICU
• BLS
• PALS
• Skills required: experience with below cardiac patients, surgeries, and diagnoses, aseptic and sterile technique, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, suctioning, G/GJ/J-tube management, NG tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCA pumps, drip management, foley insertion/management, central line dressing changes and care, central line blood draw, peripheral lab draws, discharging patients, soft skills: quick learner, critical thinker, good time management, engaged
• ECMO & peritoneal dialysis experience preferred not required
• EPIC experience preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC 
• First-time traveler accepted
• Floating: MedSurg, or ED or NICU Helping Hand or sitter
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: mixed PICU/PCICU with neuro, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, medical
• Scrub Color: any solid color, professional
• 152 total bed Level II Trauma Center with 22 PICU beds & avg census of 10-11 patients/day
